Did you know that SOCKS are one of the most valued but least donated articles of clothing?
Join us for our 6th Annual SOCKS campaign! We are uplifting our campaign name from Homeless to Hope. Our socks community has grown and so has our reach. Our socks recipients are friends experiencing homelessness or extreme hardship in their lives. Your donations bring hope and warmth to vulnerable community members.
Where do your SOCKS go?
Directly to organizations supporting friends living in shelters, on the streets, in long term care wards, vulnerable families, students & breast cancer patients in Burlington & Hamilton: Your Little Bit of Help, Mission Services, Men’s Street Ministry, The Compassion Society, The Angel Project, The Camisole Project & elementary schools.
OUR sock heroes
When we first began the Socks For The Homeless initiative, our drivers collected socks from generous customers who dropped them off when they took a taxi. A few years later, we were surprised by a few businesses and account holders that offered to host a Sock Box of their own to collect socks! Last year, we grew to 26 local businesses, schools, community groups, churches and individuals and together collected almost 6000 pairs of socks for many communities in need.
THANK YOU TO THE MANY FRIENDS, BUSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS THAT HAVE JUMPED IN TO HOST THEIR OWN SOCK DRIVE DECEMBER 1 – 18. WE ARE PROUD TO SHARE OUR ROSTER OF COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTORS:
