Community Involvement

Our cars are yellow but our fleet is green

For the last 30 years, Burlington Taxi has operated all vehicles with propane, an alternative clean fuel listed in the 1990 Clean Air Act. We are proud to be of one of the few green fleets in the province, and we continue to work with the industry to promote environmentally friendly fuel systems.

Wheelchair Accessible Service

We are proud to support our special needs customers and support the Burlington Transit System through the purchase and maintenance of wheel chair accessible taxis. We do not charge extra for our wheelchair service.

Good things happening in our community

The Sound of Music Festival, Festival of Lights, Canada Day, The Rotary Club of Burlington’s Lakeside a la Carte, Treats in Our Streets and the Christmas Parade are a few of the fun filled events we like to support every year. Check out Tourism Burlington to stay informed of What’s On.

Not for profit organizations helping those in need

Burlington Taxi has continually supported many non-profit organizations with their fundraising efforts, including the Halton Learning Foundation, Halton Women’s Place, the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation, Your Little Bit of Help and local Rotary Clubs.

Support for new mothers

Did you know that Burlington Taxi provides complimentary transportation to and from the Breast Feeding Clinic at Joseph Brant Hospital for those in need? Please pass it on!

Keeping our kids active

Sports are so important for the well-being of our children. Thanks to Burlington Youth Soccer Club (BYSC), Burlington Organized Minor Baseball Association (BOMBA), and The Burlington Lions Optimist Minor Hockey Association (BLOMHA) for keeping our kids active and involved in team sport.

Associations we are proud to be part of

Community Giving Fund

Over the years, Burlington Taxi has contributed tens of thousands of dollars to many local non-profit organizations, projects and events around the city. We have established an application-based Community Giving Fund as a way to ensure that we provide corporate fundraising or sponsorship to causes that enhance community in Burlington and align with our community values.

If you are a local organization or non-profit looking for information about applying for our Community Giving Fund, please send an email to The deadline for applications in support of 2018 activities or events is February 2, 2018.
